Catherine Schneider, MS, RDN, CNSC, CDN, “Cathy” has been a dietitian for 24 years and certified in nutrition support since 2007. She has extensive experience covering the adult critically ill population as well as providing nutrition care to adults with a variety of disease states in the acute care setting. She has always enjoyed working with students and mentoring new dietitians. One of her most rewarding experiences was serving as a clinical instructor for UCONN dietetics students, a position she held for two years. She is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, where she also completed her dietetic internship and completed her master’s degree. She is excited for the opportunity to tutor dietitians enrolled in the Refresh exam’s nutrition support course.
